Hi people
When using poser 6 if I place a light behind a figure to get a glow around them , eg back light , the hair becomes very bright almost giving off its own light , is there any way to do back lighting with hair looking right ?
thanks inadvance

Transparency mapped hair will pass light from the back. Only way I know is to either use a very low intensity light, or a spotlight pointed at a sharp angle, like from the floor almost straight up.

Have you tried turning the diffuse down to black (or v near) but leaving the specular alone in the material room. Also as markschum said, turn down the intensity.

The best way is using BB's VSSHair Prop which can be applied to any transmapped hair figure/Prop. Works on the same principle as VSS except simplied for hair.
