Hello (again)
I realize I'm making a LOT of threads, and there are always a few people who care. That being said, is there any kind of irc/chat set up for people to talk about DAZ and Poser software, because I seem to have a new question every 30 minutes.
For example: How long is "clothify" supposed to take? Because I have V4 in a fashion pose using a dynamic dress and it's taking aaaaaaaaaages to clothify. My machine should easily handle it!

RO has chat. If there is anyone in there, normally there is a Poser user in there ;).

Regarding the clothify issue (i'm certainly no expert at this, but more like an enthusiastic neophyte ) the main reasons for lengthy clothify times is collisions at frame 1 with your target figure and high-density cloth mesh.
Oh, and don't worry about posting a lot of questions... that's what the forum is for.

Another technique that might help with the cloth room.
load V4 in default pose
Skip to last frame and apply end pose.
back at frame one, load dynamic dress, making sure it is slightly above shoulders.
Clothify dress. make sure it IS a dynamic dress. If not there could be numerous problems
set up collisions for figure. (are hands, feet, head necessary? if not mark the boxes approriately)
run simmulation.

If your Vicky does a strip tease between frame one and thirty, you can easily correct that by going via the cloth room's Edit Constrained Group, ensure that the + button is highlighted and click draw on the top of the portion that is falling (if done correctly, you will see little red dots). To remove some, click on the - button and click draw to eliminate. Then click on the small x to close the Group editor. The dress etc top will hold to that part of the torso automatically. Its a cool little feature. Jan

Chat is the third option under member links. Be patient trying to get in because they know they need to fix it but they don't have the time right now.
