Alright, you guys helped me with my last problem, so here's another one.
I recently upgraded to Poser Pro 2010 and installed all of my content except the DAZ Mil figures. Whenever I try to load them, no matter what directory I use, it gives me an error msg.
I'm using Win 7, btw.
Thanks

It's because the archaic Daz installers are looking for Poser.exe rather than Poser2010's executable. Make an empty text file in your Poser directory or just outside the runtime you're trying to install it to and name it Poser.exe. It fools the installer and the figures will then install ;). For the gen 4 figures it's probably better if you install them to your main Poser runtime.

Personally with the whole initalization thing I prefer to give them their own runtime. If you select the DAZ Studio option when installing you can browse and install to where ever you want.

That's sort of what I did. I copied the Poser Pro .exe, re-named it Poser and put it in it's own runtime then installed the Mil 4 figures with their morphs and some textures in the same runtime. Works fine now. I knew a little more about setting up Poser this time so now my content is WAY more organized...it was a total mess in Poser 8.
