I've come here due to the traffic here. I've posted a thread over at the hardware forum aboaut my Intous4 tablet. If a hardware guru could check it out for me I would greately appreciate it.

I answered. Not sure how helpful it will be.

Didn't know we had a hardware forum! I'm not much of a guru but I'll take a look.

I thought maybe not everyone knew the fardware/tech forusm was there, that's why id did a redirect from here. By the way, it's a laptop (I've set it up as a desktop because the monitor is too far from my face to see it ... so there are a lot of ports used ... all of them infact).

I did a little digging and found this thread over at DA:

It's similar to your problem, Intuos4, laptop, W7, lights blinking, pen not working. At least two people in the thread found a solution so hopefully you will too.

How very sweet of you Vestmann, I did get a solution, just been walked through with a Wacom techie. He was very nice and I just needed a new driver and all is good. I will keep this bookmarked just in case. :)

Glad that things worked out. I recently got a Bamboo end even though it's a small tablet and can't think of working without it.

This tablet is so wonderful. The accuracy and ... I can draw like I did when I saw a bit better back when. It's opened doors for me. Here is a drawing I did for a project I am working on.
Thanx again for your help ... and and extra hug for you Acadia, cuz you are the huggin queen. :)
