There is a place somewhere to select which artists that I follow in which I want to receive email updates when they upload a new gallery image. I turned it off a little while ago and now I can't find it.
Is it still here somewhere and if so where?

You can go into your gallery then click on "My Favorite Artists" and from there you can turn on/off notifications for each:)
