OK! Hoppin' there's still activity here. I did read the older thread on importing poser to Vue, but think I botched the inital import attempt by directing Vue to the wrong place. How do I "re-direct" Vue to the poser runtime folder?
Go figure, finally retired and have some time to spend - beginning to think I'll have to save up $$$ and just purchase Vue 9! LOL!

I think Vue 5 will only import from up to either Poser 5 or possibly 6. The software boffins assume everyone always upgrades ALL of their software
If you want to import into V5 you'll probably have to use an older Poser to do so, or go the old way round and export your Poser as .obj and import that instead. I don't think Collada import was introduced to Vue back then

Copy that! I'd that sneakin' suspicion, hoped maybe not. Guess I'll spotted dragging a garbage bag along the roadside pickin' up aluminum cans to recycle! Thanks much for the input!

The oldest Vue I have still installed is 6 and the newest Poser import setup is Poser 7 so that kinda confirms it

Yep that is correct, I have Vue 6I and actually can import Poser 8 files, but not with Vue 5I

If I remember in the Vue forums there was suppose to be a zipped file that if you used it on Vue5I, you could use your Poser 8 files, but I searched and searched the forums at E-on and never could find it. Sharen
