Maya can't handle textures made in Poser pro. I try to convert these textures and load them. But i get an error saying the node is locked or connected.

Someone has a solution for this?

Thanks in advance.

You don't make textures in Poser. You just connect nodes assigning textures and procedurals.

I'm no Maya expert, but a screenshot of your material in the node room, as well as to just how you're exporting from Poser and importing to Maya would help pinpoint what is happening. Or are you using Poserfusion?

Too many open questions to really know what is happening and how to solve whatever it is that is happening.

Thanks for your answer.

The textures made by poser itself i mean.

Yes i'm using poser fusion. When exporting Maya cant handle(or convert) the imagefiles,

so i want to replace them with a converted texture. But i cant load that converted file because of the error. I dont think a screenshot of Maya would help.

I hope someone who is a Maya expert can answer my question.

The only option is to assign a new shader i think

You probably need to ask this question in the Maya forum too.  I don't see your thread there.  Jan
