Pixologic has just released Sculptris updated version Alpha 6. This program is still an Alpha version but fairly well stable one. I am soooo excited. I LUV this program.

Sculptris is an awesome FREE modeller that anyone can use and the closest thing to playing with clay without getting your hands wet.

It's beautiful uncluttered interface and simple tools are very inviting and easy to use. With so few tools you may be fooled to think it is limited but truely the only limitation is your imagination.

The update now includes support for Mac OSX. I'm use the PC version on my laptop with Windows XP so I can't tell you anything about the Mac version.

They have good introduction videos and a friendly Scuptris forum full of enthusiastic hobbyist and pros. I've been hanging out there for a year now getting good tips on using this little program.

Did I say little? Well it's only 20MB file but WOW what it can do. It is fun and never severly punishes you for experimenting. So now you can include your own created unique "Objet d'art" into your render scenes.
