After installing Poser 8, I dragged and dropped my entire Runtime folder from my Poser 7 to the Poser 8 Runtime folder. When I go to the library in Poser 8, I do not see all the folders I created over the years with all my figures, poses and props. Even when I try using the search library button, I do not see any of the folders I created. Please help! I know everything is there, I just feel like I have lost everything. I don't know where to look.

Are you able to find the files using Windows Explorer, or if on a Mac, Finder?
If you can, and if they are in Poser 8RuntimeRuntime then I suggest that you move them out of there to a new folder under My Documents (or the Mac equivalent) and make that a remote Poser library.
I appreciate that some of the above may not be clear but if you could please post some screen shots of Windows Explorer or Finder, showing where things are we can take it one step at a time.

Hi Phil,
I found it! When creating a new library in Poser 8, you click on the add a new folder
icon and simply choose the Runtime folder (the folder with all the libraries, characters, etc.). Thanks for your help.

Your only problem now is whether your python scripts will work properly due to overwriting P8 with P7. The correct procedure would be to overwrite your P7 with P8 then drag and drop that runtime into your P8 folder. However, you could have simply used P7's runtime as an external folder to P8, avoiding any overwriting at all.
