Man, just downloaded the Alpha of Sculptris today, thing is wicked cool!! can export to carrara with the OBJ file format... works pretty well, some minor distortion but man it's simple to use!!

I did the little frenchy guy in like 15 mins and the dragon mouse in like an hour of playing around!!!

Great! Did you saw the GoZ for Carrara? A bridge that link Carrara to ZBrush?

Sculptris is way cool, I need to invest some more time into it.

Does everything start out as a sphere, can you add more primitives or even use another starter primitive?

ya.. it's fun.. you can only start with a sphere or plane...  I'm guessing as it progresses it'll have more. you can add more spheres as you go and they seem to go on their own "layer"..?

Definitely need to put a lil time into it, but admittedly, I've been using 3D Coat even more than ZBrush these days...

Voxels is the way to go...... But damn that retopping!

As for starting with something besides the sphere just import an obj from another modeler. For instance make a basic stick man in wings 3d or blender and then import to sculptris.
