I know art is in the eye of the beholder.

I know some folks have more time and talent.

But I wish more people would look at what they post in the galleries with a self-critical eye and realize what a disservice it is to viewers to copy/paste flattering remarks all over the place and spoil themselves basking in returned favors from those mutually seeking to be exalted --  exalted not by their work but by their loyalty to daily clicking "add to favorites", "5 star rating" within said groups.

It has skewd the art charts, the "most viewed", "most commented" and "best ratings" in a number of galleries to the point those catagories are no longer a trigger to finding good art and talent.

That is harmful to this wonderful site, in my opinion.

I am on a mission to politely comment on art and photographs that could be better if those folks would simply try harder at what they are producing and spend less time trolling to keep status.

A couple years ago, one of those persons entered a forum challenge here with a totally irrelevent image and got oodles of votes from pals who had never came to the forums before or since.  After the voting was done, several forum members POLITELY responded that this behavior was not appreciated here. 

So, I am on a mission to politely critique in the galleries what I find good and also what I find not so good.
