I've fried this fish before, but it appears no one is listening. I may be in the minority in these views, and if so, everyone else speak up along with a "why."
Background Artists! Whether you practice your craft with a camera or rendering program, PLEASE! Give the poser characters somewhere to stand! I have heard the arguement that most renders don't show feet. That may be the case, but (expecially!) if you are doing a sequence, there has to be an establishing shot to place the character in the environment. Please. Give is at least a FEW renders of your world that show a place to stand or sit.
Especially if the pixel counts are huge along the lines of 3000 or so, there is room for us to CROP if we don't want the ground plane in the picture.
Perhaps I am the only one for whom this is an issue, and if so, tell me to go buy something else. If I'm not, then I suggest your sales will increase if you sell something other than "a pretty picture" with nowhere for my characters to stand.
