You could make one in the group editor? Just select the faces you want and then spawn a prop.

The problem with V4, I've found, is that her neck comes up onto the back of her head, making it seperate from the head group. So, if I want hair below the occipital (sp?) bone, I have to use two seperate groups.

A word of caution. If you spawn a prop from the original V4 mesh my understanding is that it is a derived object and its redistribution is restricted by the original V4 user license. Again this is my understanding, for a definitive answer check with DAZ.
What you do for your own use on your own computer is entirely up to you.
The Hair Designer has a tool that will make skull caps for pretty much any figure with a head. The Hair Designer license enables you to redistribute the result.
Hope this helps.

I should have stressed that you can only spawn a prop from the figure if it's for your own use ;). I figured it was tho since the OP was asking if there already WAS one ;).
Thanks PhilC

If you viewed my "Skull Cap" tutorial, you should have seen this WARNING.
It's one of those ... READ & HEED ... thingies.

Thanks all!
Yes, I did see the warning, Dr. Geep, and this would have been for my own use.
Can a skullcap be made in a modeling program? Or would that also fall under that warning?
@ LaurieA: How do I reimport two props at the same time? I've never tried that before
Sorry if I'm being a bit dense here..

What ya do is export just the two hair props together. Because you're saving to one file, it's now one prop ;).

I use the hair designer mostly for making skullcaps on which I then grow dynamic hair. Not only is the skullcap licensed for redistribution, it has handy morphs to shape it. And the topography is easy to customise in a modeller, for instance if you want to change the hairline.
