Hello all.
Is there any kind of plug-in that allows a someone working in Cinema 4D to bring in Vue Scenes so they can work with and render them in Cinema 4D? I'd like to use the animation and render abilities in Cinema 4D on a Vue Scene as well as add more to the scene with Vue objects while in C4D if Ican import it.

Same question for Maya. Thanks in advance.

Without the use of Vue xStream?

I currently have C4D installed and Vue 9 xStream. I was just at the e-onsoftware site and notice there is Vue 9.5 xStream now. It looks from the advertisement like maybe if you have Vue 9.5 xStream that it automatically integrates with C4D now? If this is the case then maybe I don't need a plugin after all, just need to upgrade to Vue 9.5 xStream? If I upgrade I wonder if that will automatically change the menu bar in my current version of C4D R12 so that it has Vue 9xStream capabilities. Below is the page I noticed that seems to indicate this:

Does anyone already have both C4D R12 and Vue 9.5 to confirm this?

Understood.  You didn't mention software versions before which can mean "yes, they will work together just fine until you upgrade C4D to a newer version" or "no, they will not work together and you will have to wait 6 months to a year for a Vue upgrade to recognize your version of C4D".

I would email e-on first before buying any version of Vue to work with your exact version of C4D.  Make sure they know exactly which C4D bundle/level you have also.

ADDED:

I just remembered, they are going to tell you to download and test their free Vue 9.5 PLE for them to see if it works with your C4D.  So do that.  Then buy the actual program.

They do wok well together, but they already did before. 9.5 adds the world browser right inside C4D, so this is a huge improvement in terms of workflow. I don't know if the workld browser has been integrated in Maya, but I know you can't paint ecosystems in Maya. The Vue/C4D integration is really excellent.
