I've got some video tutorials posted that some of you might find helpful. There are more coming, if there is something specific you have in mind let me know.bagginsbill posted Sun, 31 July 2011 at 8:17 AM
Your Flash is not working right on my Mac/Safari.
First, it occupies the entire browser, eliminating the sizing widget in the corner. I know, that's not really your fault, but is a problem.
Second, the tutorial list extends past the right edge of the screen, resulting in words off to the side that I can't read.
Third, without clicking anything, the list of tutorials scrolls just by moving the mouse around, and it doesn't work right. At one point I moved the mouse up-screen quickly and the tutorials scrolled down off the screen altogether - leaving an empty black region permanently.
Finally, a little warning about a nude static image would be good - my family was in the room when I brought it up. Not being used to Poser culture, they don't get why I have naked breasts on the screen.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

I certainly didn't mean to offend you and I am sorry about that, I have added a Nudity flag to this post. My apologies.
The swf player is 760x430 and is supposed to stay at that size, I don't know why it is becoming larger on your setup.
For me the list stays static until my mouse hovers over it and then the list will scroll according to the mouse position.
So ultimately I am not sure what is affecting this swf file from playing properly on your computer, it might be a Mac or Safari things as you mentioned. Is anybody else having issues with this displaying properly?

The entire page is shifted right in IE8, also in resulting clipping of the banner and tutorial scrolls. When playing the tutorial, the video screen remains in the lower right of the page with no scroll control visible.

Just checked Firefox, same issue as IE. The only way I could display the entire page is to right-click on the browser page, select Show all, then zoom in.

hmmm, I'm using Firefox too (PaleMoon) and just check with my IE and all is well. The Flash page size is 1900x1926...maybe that is the problem??

I just ran one tutorial, wonderful BTW, but as BB mentioned, the enlarge feature not visible at all.

I'm confuzzled, can't break it on my end...everything shows up fine.
It must be that my computer is fine and all of yours is buggered up! (jk)

1900x1926 seems awfully excessive. I suspect the rest of us may have smaller screens (mine is 1600 x 1000-something.) You might resize one to a smaller size and see if that solves everyone's problems.

Yep, same here with FireFox running WinXP.

I'm curious, if BB, Hborre and InfoCentral wouldn't mind my asking what their monitor resolution sizes are?

Here is how it displays on my 22" widescreen. I would prefer that I could centre the video instead of having it at the very bottom of my screen. With it being so low down, when I look at it, it brings my desk into view and it's very distracting.
I use Firefox 4.01 version.

To the OP You Should Consider Starting a free account on Vimeo.com
the pages are clean & professional looking (Unlike youtube)
but the format is auto converted FLV Like youtube which everyone can view without all these issues reported here.
just a thought.

Aha - this flash app pays zero attention to its container. As well, it has no scroll bars. That's not a good way to go.
My MacBook Pro 15" laptop is 1440 by 900 - they all are. Nobody with a Mac can see this Flash app's important part, nor bring it into view.
Having just looked at it on my PC desktop at 1920x1200, of course it is fine. But take it over to my other screen at 1600x900, and the last tutorial in the list of 5 is unreachable - it's off the bottom of the screen.
I write Flash only through Flex, and in Flex, things are always resizable and have scroll bars when needed. In straight-up Flash you have to do all this yourself.

On Google Chrome, I can only see the word Rig and the beginning of the second g when my window is maximized. My screen resolution is 1400x1050. On IE8, it's the same thing as on Chrome and also the video controls are cut off at the buttom. So I can't pause the video on IE8.
