You need to login to your Daz3D account and reset the download and it will show up.  There were a few updates to some of the other compontents for me having to do with Victoria 4.

Here is a screen shot of what I'm seeing, maybe its the regular version vs pro version? PC vs Mac?

I have downloaded the Pro version and it came as 8.1.1.12.  I am not clear if it needs to be the regular version or not.

For fun, I clicked on the beta version and the beta version pops up as 8.1.1.8.  The "non" beta version comes up as 8.1.1.12.

Not sure why DAZ has to have such a funky and cryptic upgrade system.

@Kixum: How do you know which is the Beta?

I'm sorry this is so confusing.  I am confused every time I have to get a new version of C.  To summarize what I did,

1.)  I logged into DAZ.

2.)  I went to my account and there were two versions of C which I could reset.  One was labled the beta version and another was just the standard C8Pro upgrade.

3.)  Since I have no real idea what to do at that point, I clicked them both.

4.)  I wait a few minutes and then I could download them.  There are two versions in my download list.  One is labled as CPro for windows 64 bit and the other is labled as C8Pro beta windows 64 bit.

I clicked on both those versions and kept the one I wanted.

If I had my way, we would just log into DAZ, go to an actual upgrade page for C, look through a simple yet clear and concise list of versions, click the one we want, it would download, and we would go back to rendering like happy artful humans.  Another particular wish is that,

A.)  I'd like an email when a new version appears.  Special thanks to Analog-X64 for giving us the nod on this!

B.)  I'd like to see a list of what's been fixed.  It's not as though it's going to be a big deal but I'd just like to know what's supposedly working that used to be busted or if there's some new gadgetron that I'd like to test drive.

DAZ is a very confusing and complicated outfit.  I'm SUPER glad that somebody is still working C, keeping it alive and pumping it.  I just sort of wish that it was an organization that did things in a less clumsy fashion.

@Kixum:  My spidy senses told me I should check to see if there was a new version... I'm not kidding, I dont know what made me look and sure enough there was a new version.

Now mine is a bit different.

When I look my items list I see.

Carrara 8 Pro Product ID (10608)

So once I reset my download list I see the following.

Listed twice:

Carrara 8 Application PC 32

One of them shows up as  Carrara 8.10.153

the other shows up as      Carrara 8.1.1.12

So I'm guessing one is the Normal Edition and the other is a Pro edition.

I saw it in my available downloads last night and grabbed it.
