For those of you who have not played this game before of for those who haven't done it in a long time, here is how it's done...

A photograph of any quality or subject is posted at the start of the week.  Members are free to use that photo and change it in any way by adding, deleting or manipulating  elements into it.  It does not have to be labor intensive. Something quick and easy is as much fun as something that takes a long time and is very intricate.

Each member can have up to 3 tries at it each week. You can do something to the original post or something to one of the "morphed" images.

The first person who puts up a re-worked photo after the original one is posted is the person who is responsible for uploading the next Monday's original image for us to work with.

If you have any questions, be sure to ask.  Several of us are "old hands" at this and we will be glad to help out.

What a fun image!  This doesn't look great up close, but for a small photo in the forum I figured it was close enough.  :P

Hey!  This is good!  I really like this. I figured it might be difficult to work with but you just made it look so easy.

Thanks!  :)

I guess I'm first up, so I'll find something to do for next week.  I might need a reminder that it's Monday!  Retirement is wonderful, but I do tend to lose track of what day it is now and then.  :P

My goodness! Hele, I love your additions. How funny. And the way they are done with selective color is so marvelous.

gonzojr, you also managed to get those silly telephone and power lines out of there.  love the brushed look.

Tara, I hope you have something more inspirational than yoru backyard since that's all I could come up with.  I really hoped I'd get a few good ideas to "fancy" it up, but bulldozing the neighbors and the fence really isn't an option, and neither is raising giant wasps! LOL

I have no idea how you'll tend garden with this overpowering water feature I just installed!

What will your neighbors think???

helanker posted Thu, 04 August 2011 at 3:40 AM

And here is my last one.

TomDart posted Thu, 04 August 2011 at 7:51 AM

The broken glass "frame" is neat.

I started with a "yellow brick road" theme but that fell into whatever this is...

...now someone can analyze and tell me what I mean by it all... : )

MrsLubner posted Thu, 04 August 2011 at 8:11 AM

I'm excited! Bill, that water feature is great!  That's what I'm talking about. Plant a few trout and get out the rubber raft to tend the plants... :-)  The neighbors would expect this of me. But then, they'd expect planes and even the great Emerald City of OZ. The broken window even fits very well. LOL

Hi PJ, Just tell the neighbors it's a mirage...the water feature is from the front of the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas:) They said you could use it for a few weeks.

gonzojr, tk, Andrew , Helle and Tom...nice work all! Half the fun is scrounging around in our files and/or digital darkroom finding something to use to mess with PJ's backyard. And best of all is the practice doing something we don't use or do every day.

Ok, I'm off to see what else I can find. This may take a little while.

vaggabondd, messing up is part of it..there is room to experiment and play with stuff any way you want...or happen to happen.    Looks good to me.

Thank you P.J. for this fun game. What has already been stunning done with your beautiful garden picture. With a little help from my husband (because I do not know where to find the options) I also experimented. Here the three.

MrsLubner posted Sun, 07 August 2011 at 5:27 PM

myrrhluz, That is awesome. I actually like that. Sort of like the view up the pond at the front of the Taj Mahal. LOL If I wanted to tear down the house and add a shed, this is how I would re-do the yard. :-)

gonzojr, the softness and monotone in yours is very relaxing. Nice older feel to the presentation too. Well done.
