Hi,

I'm trying to create (make from scratch) a Dynamic Clothing item for Daz. I have NO problem making it for poser.... but I have no clue how to go about doing it for daz. I have search high and low for a tutorial but can find NONE.

Please point the way to a tutorial to make an obj or poser item INTO a dynamic clothing item IN DAZ (not the opposite) or explain how to do it.... please!!!!!

there a lots of ways do do lots of things in the digital world.

it depends if your animating or just rendering?

if you are just rendering then you can use poser to pose your figures and dynamic cloth, then import the poser scene into daz.

it works.

or you can get the new plugin for daz.dynamic clothing plugin.

most of us who use daz will want that at some point.

You can't make dynamic cloth in DS, all we have is the crap Optitex system, which only allows you to 'drape' content that only Optitex can make.

As the only ppl that can make DC for DS they have a monopoly and they wont give that up, so if they do release anything it will be so expensive that even the content creators wont touch it.

TBH this was DAZ's biggest cluster****, they only recently made a bigger one (DS4)

Technically it is untrue that only optitex is able to make the dynamic cloth. Anyone who has bought their program could do it. For most of us the cost is prohibitive however. About $3000 and it is generally sold to people in the fashion business who no doubt are more interested in its other potential rather than trying to sell or give away for studio.
