scratch and sniff card.. and seriously..everything smelt like fruity bubblegum to me.. even the farts and the poo. the no flashes on the screen and you have to scratch and sniff the corresponding no on the card.
somewhere in thorpe park, uk.. there is a 4d theatre.. of course it's just 15 mins show.. but we had water spilling when the elephant spilt water, bubbles, and mist.. etc.. way fun esp for kiddos..
but this scratch and sniff??? maybe..maybe one day.. we'll have pipes that throw in scents into the theatre..
and that ..when it happens. it will not be called 4d..coz.. as we sensible, brainy people know.. the 4th dimention is time..so there is no way we can have scent and touch as 4d.. but maybe it ought to be called 2S.. ie..sensory..
i dunno..but can i have my money back?? oh..and they charged way extra just for a piece of cardboard the smelt like bubblegum???

rather than real innovation, they resorted to amateurish gimmicks to entice people in!
my own feeling is that this picture will see a quick demise and not even make it to break-even level.
BTW, nice to hear from you again.

Despite the fact that this particular 'fourth dimension' doesn't work (my daughter went to see this at the weekend), smells do have the ability to evoke some, quite extraordinarily poingnant memories. Well one day anyway.
