I have tried to find details on this offer, but cannot locate any information. The forum is for members only, so that's no help.
I was initially tempted by this concept, but the lack of specifics leaves me wondering. As the old saying goes, if it's too good to be true, it probably isn't.

"What is meant by $3.50 for NEW items? When is an item no longer new? Does it go back to the original (non-prime) price? How long does an item stay new? Are all items currently shown new? What the heck is prime classic? Is a classic item new or old? What does it cost?"
From what I understand, the prime products with the blue banner are permanently in the prime category at the prime price. The prime products with the red banner (prime classics) are older products that once added to the prime category will be $3.50 like the rest of the prime products, but only be there at that price for about a month and then return to their original price.
"How does one get the PRIME price? Do you have to buy prime, then go back in and shop for prime items? Will the shopping cart know you're a prime member, and charge the $3.50 price?"
Yes, buy the prime membership and once an admin activates your membership (should be soon) you would then see the prime price reflected in your cart.*
"Is every prime item $3.50 for members? This seems to be implied, but it's not clear to me."
Yes, all prime products are $3.50...the prime classics will go back to their normal price after about a month.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong on any of this!
