Just a thought, dunno if it has been brought up b4... But I would like to be able to remove some of the links on the right menu... Remove the ones that I never really use... Or am I making a fool of myself because that function already is available?!?! If so, shoot me... Please... If not, could it be taken into consideration? Maybe as a link to a list where you could choose from the different forums etc. under 'Member Options'... Thanx... Paw.

This probably won't be someting we do. Imagine tracking a dozen or two menu items for each of 55,000+ members. It would take quite a bit of database space, and slow the site down a bit figuring out whether to display the menus or not.

No problem. Thanks for the suggestion. It's really a great idea, just not too practical from a systems standpoint with a site this large. Keep thinking though, most of our best features have come from member suggestions.

ermmmm.. cough.. would it be too much trouble to place the login at the top menu? I looked all over for it as I usually login then hit the forums... then the gallerys then... but to be in the middle then get the login please.... was slightly disconcerting.. thank ye Cheers

Cookies Wizzard, cookies. :) You should only have to login once. Personally, I never login. And we didn't move the Login link. It's where it has always been.

I know Russ.. but the front page when it loads.. there's nothing on the right... the only links availiable are at the top... as for cookies.. well... I'm not overly keen on any one at the shoppe getting as me and wreaking havoc with the few friends I have... if ye know what I mean 8 ) it was a little thing.. no big deal either way 8 ) although I do like the new layout... Cheers

Ah. Someone else has reported that the sidebar disappeared on them too. I think I might have fixed it. Please let me know if you notice it disappearing anymore.

What browser and version? I can't reproduce what you're seeing on either my IE 5.5 or Netscape 4.08.

Wizzard posted Thu, 03 May 2001 at 12:58 AM
