Hi everyone! Me again....
While waiting for PoserPro 2012 to be released, I've built a new computer that runs Windows 7.
Here are my specs:
Gigabyte Ga-H61M-S2-B3 motherboard
Intel Core i3 Dual Core w/ Hyper Threading
ATI Radeon HD 5570 w/ 1 Gig DDR3 RAM PCI Express2.1
8Gigs of RAM
1 Terabyte Harddrive
I'm not 100% sure if the Radeon is being used or if my computer is using the integrated video card, which I don't want.
For some reason, I still have "Not enough memory to load textures" error & I can't figure it out wtf is going on. It rendered a few minutes prior with only 5 items less, but now it's throwing errors like there's no tomorrow. I've seen a couple of fixes for XP, but I'm not tempted to use them on Win7 cause I'm really new to it.
Any help at all would be appreciated.
Lynn

The only advice I can give you is this:
If Windows 7 UAC is turned on, might be better if you install Poser anywhere other than Program Files. UAC can make Poser act "funny" if installed there.
In Poser preferences, make sure your search is set to "Deep".
To make sure your Radeon is the gfx card being used, right click on "My Computer" chose "Properties" and then "Device Manager" it should list both gfx hardware devices. Make sure the on-board video is disabled and the Radeon is enabled by right clicking on each one under "Display Adapters".

First three things
search for topics on Large Address Aware I don't believe Poser 6 is
Also make a partition for Poser and your runtimes (2) to help posers' search thing and to escape the User Acccount Control and protected status of W7
Set the priority of Poser to Below Normal so Poser doesn't overrun it's 32 bit 3G ram limit * see LAA above

Hi Laurie,
The only thing listed under "Display Adapters" is the Radeon & it is enabled & drivers are up to date. It doesn't show the onboard card at all there.

I guess the drivers for the one on the mobo were never installed then?

JimTS,
Do have both Poser & runtimes installed on a separate partition. It's a habit for me to install on separate partition seems to save lots of headaches if I crash. I'll try the Large Address Aware.
Thanks all for helping!
