I what to make some short animations and stills of exercises using resistance tubes and cable pulls.
Both ends of the tube need to be fixed, one end to a tie off the other to the figure's body somewhere. How can a prop be made to adjust when both 'fixed' ends vary in their relationships with each?
FYI if the cloth room is the solution, I need step by step help since I am a cloth room virgin.
thanks for any ideas.

???
Would something like this work?
It could be used for linear motion, i.e. rubber band stretch, as well as radial motion.

you can make a prop morph for the short and long positions. That could even be done in Poser with magnets and then spawn a morph from it. It would depend on how many positions you would need. A figure with handle-spring-handle would be easy to make.

those things may be the kind of elastic tubes that get thinner as they stretch. like extra-large latex surgical tubing. they can't use springs, as they pinch yer skin if yer not careful.
