Subject: David for M4

There are a number of users whom I know who were big fans of David 3 (incl me!) Daz's position not to do D4 is now made even more interesting by them bringing out David for Genesis.

Interesting thing is this: I've had my own version of "David" for M4 that I've been using for a couple of years. It requires Morphs++ and Trekkiegrrrl's "M4 Younger" available in the Freestuff area. I have not attempted to actually sculpt D3's face, simply to create a young man of his approximate age, build and attractiveness that can then be morphed into other characters. Here's my solution to David for M4.

If there is any interest, I'll be happy to post my dial settings.

Did you try use M4 with V4 channels? You can inject Stephanie morph - it can be called David.

I made Hiro 4 hacking A4 cr2. Replaced Victoria obj by M4 obj.

To me the Genesis David morph looks nothing like D3. The Genesis Troll morph looked like a cross between the Troll and the Pillsberry Dough Boy. These morphs may actually be much better than their promotional renders look, but one would think that some real effort would be put into making promotional renders that showed off such products at their best.

TG's mom passed away recently and she's says on her site that she'll be taking some time off.

Since Trekkiegrrl's M4 younger package is now available again, there's my instructions to make "David" for M4:

Inject Trekkiegrrl's M4 Younger and Morph++.

Full Body Dials:

Smooth: .32

Thin: .11

Young: 1.0

Trekkiegrrl's morphs:

Set Soften Face, Jaw Corner's in, Chin Clift Remove, Nose Younger, Chin Smaller, Cheeks softer, Mouth Softer, and Chin Higher ALL to 1.0.

Scale character to 92%
