Do you know that following Pose file is able to inject Morph to the Figure( like Victoria4.2.cr2 ) without .pmd file or empty channels on the Poser8/PoserPro2010 ?

Shall you test , if you have Poser8 or PoserPro2010.

1.download file "TEST_INJ_ELITE_X.zip".

https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=0d55c94a389bb0e3&id=D55C94A389BB0E3%21131#cid=0D55C94A389BB0E3&id=D55C94A389BB0E3%21995

 (公治 ?SkyDrive ?3MP ?Poser ?INJ_TEST_ELITE_X )

2.unzip it.

3.move to Poser Libraries/Pose

4.Execute Poser8 or PoserPro2010.

5.Load "Victoria4.2.cr2"

6.Apply to Victoria4.

(Poser7J are not able to add targetGeom channel.)

Thank you.

Hi PhilC

It is about September 19 that I knew the third Injection Morph Pose file are enable on Poser8/PoserPro2010.

It is easier to make Injection Morph Pose file for Poser8/PoserPro2010 than Poser7.

I guess that the product for Poser7 is not made.

Thank you.

That's wonderful news!  :thumbupboth:

Thanks for bringing this to our attention kim99. I have been wishing for this ability ever since P4. There seems to be nothing out of the ordinary about the  "INJ_TEST_ELITE_X.pz2" file, so this should work for any existing delta injection file.***

Hi lesbentley

I am glad.

You understand the difference between Poser7 and Poser8,

and the meaning about "INJ_TEST_ELITE_X.pz2".

I have been wishing for this ability ever since P4.

I wished it, too.

I do not know why I did not notice that so far.

I should add that thanks to a py script by Cage, users of P7 and previous are not left entirely out in the cold. The "morph_slot_maker2a_py_(MSM)" can read a pose file, then add any missing targetGeom (morph) channels to the figure, then apply the pose. It involves a little more work than just applying the pose, but at least it can be done. This script - which can be freely distributed - provides a safety net for users of earlier versions, so that they are not excluded from using delta injections that use unique internal channel names.

MSM is hosted on Antonia's Free Site.

Thank you, lesbentley.

I do not know that we can add morph without ".pmd" file in Poser7.

I usually used the following methods.

Be careful with this. While it may appear to work at first glance what is really happening is the first morph channel whatever it may be is being over written. If you try injecting this into a totally blank figure, one with no PBMCC's then nothing happens. Same behavior in P8 and P9. Sorry, still need to use PMD injection.

I'm going to file a bug that mis-matched conventional injections are overwriting the first morph channel.

What seemed to be an enhancement has turned out to be a bug. A way to inject new targetGeom channels via a pose file (without PMD) is still at the top of my wish list, and many years over due in my estimation. I thought we had it for a while, but no such luck.
