I read the minimum systems requirement for Poser 9, but I'm concerned that my modest 2008-era laptop (HP Pavilion Dv5 notebook) may not be up to it.
I read in the forum that Poser 9 has vastly improved render times and processing. Should I take that to mean that an older system, like mine, would actually benefit from Poser 9?
This is what I have:
Vista Home Premium - 64bit
Intel Core2 Duo CPU
2.00 Ghz processor
4 GB of RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 9600GM GT
Any advice or insight as to how Poser 9 would fare under this configuration?
Thanks in advance!

That sounds a lot like my old desktop specs. I run Poser 8 and don't have 9 yet, but I'm pretty sure the requirements are similar. Poser 8 ran well on my dual core 3 gig memory machine. I'm thinking it should run fine ;).

Thank you Laurie. My system is able to process the program and is endering fairly well. For now! Ive not really tried anything significant at this stage, but it seems to be creaking along. I`ll have to upgràde soon I guess, but for now, the configuration seems sufficient.
