Attached Link: Penguin Submarine - 14 MB - 52 Sec - QTMOV
Hahahahahah I finsihed! The product of a week of hard labor, my [current] masterpeice: PENGUIN SUBMARINE! Its a 14mb, 52 sec QT Mov of a Penguin hunting a fish, all to the tune of the Beatle's "Yellow Submarine". It includes AZChips exlposion technique, and a fun little 'Torpedo Cam" scene (i.e. seeing through the Torpedo's homing device.) I used 10 or so cameras, 20+shaders, and the whole thing took between 1-1.5 hours to render. [For those of high bandwidth] Enjoy! *note - can you name shaders? this was a big problem when i had to manage 20 or so (-: Nebula [Supernova Studios](http://supernovastudios.virtualave.net)litst posted Sun, 29 April 2001 at 8:55 PM
Hey, i'm impatient to see it ! At less than 1k/s, it will take a while to download, though ... Yes, you can name shaders : select a shader in the assemble room with the sequencer tray, and rename it in the properties tray . litst

It's very cute. I can't quite figure out the motivation of the penguin, though. Is he just evil? Or is the thing he shot a badguy? I love the penguin's angry look when he fires the torpedo. Now, of course, I'm going to have "Yellow Submarine" running through my head all day....

Well, as a penguin, he hunts and eats Poser Angelfish figures. I thought the angry penguin part was funny too, I got it from anime sequences where you see the camera panning around two people who are about to fight (-: I thought the explosions might have been a little excessive though, I had 5 cameras dedicated to the explosion, and it replays 7 times. I had origanly wanted the explosions to play during the downbeats of the chorus, but I wasnt precise in my estimating. O well, that bugger deserved it. The real motivation for this was the AP Comp-Sci Case Study, which involves a Fish class, and our work on it has been modifying the methods and atrributes of the different classes. Well, I just couldnt take it anymore, so I blew the fish away! Ahahah! Glad you enjoyed (-: Next is another planetary obliteration, Mako Cannon style. Nebula Supernova Studios

Good movie! Pretty funny. The explosions were somewhat excessive...but it gets the point accross! Good Job! Jared
