I can't upload a new file to my locker. It is well within the size limit. It "looks" as tho it is uploading...Then nothing happens..
FutureFantasyDesign posted Sun, 02 October 2011 at 11:03 AM
Eeek! I am just following this to see if there is a resolution!
Good Luck!

Yes, it opens a new window for the upload..It shows progress of the file being uploaded..But, the file never shows up..It's a simple zip file created by windows..I had previously attempted the same with a file created in 7zip..I tried both ways to ensure it wasn't a file issue..

Bruce, I just showed Tommy this thread so he is looking:)
StaceyG posted Mon, 03 October 2011 at 10:56 AM
Hey Bruce exactly what is the file size? Tommy checked the database to see if others had successfully uploaded to the file locker yesterday and today since he saw no immediate issue he wondered exactly what the file size is
bclaytonphoto posted Tue, 04 October 2011 at 1:23 PM
It was around 130 mb..yeah..kinda big for 150mb locker..but I need to transfer some images to somebody who is doing a promo video..
bclaytonphoto posted Tue, 04 October 2011 at 1:26 PM
I woould expect it to take some time for an upload of that size to complete..Instead..it shows upload progress..going very fast..it reaches 100%...then nothing...is 130 mb too big of a file?
StaceyG posted Tue, 04 October 2011 at 2:08 PM
Hang tight Bruce let me check
FutureFantasyDesign posted Tue, 04 October 2011 at 4:34 PM
130 is too big. If you split it it should work. It times out is what happens. I had to do that once.
Sorry to step on you Stacey, I know it only likes about 60mb's at a time.

Thanx..File size does seem to be the issue..Uploading the third file now, it's the largest at 37MB..
FutureFantasyDesign posted Tue, 04 October 2011 at 11:07 PM
No problem. I thought the same thing when mine did not upload when I first used it. Seems it gets snitty about varied sizes! No amount of frustration!
Glad to help.

I'm just glad someone figured this out..It's a bit of a pain this way..But, the bottom line is, now I can transfer the files to my client..

Thanks Ariana!
Had a bit of a tummy bug so getting back here late, but thought it might be the files needed splitting too.

Just a quick update, I managed a 50MB upload last night..Not sure where the limit is...
FutureFantasyDesign posted Thu, 06 October 2011 at 2:36 PM
usually 50-60mb is the best size to use. More then that and i found it tends to freeze or it looks like it is uploading, only to find it timed out.
