when i render to disc.. does the file i chose to save as..tiff, photoshop, hdr, bmp.. etc etc etc.. affect the amount of time used for rendering?
or shall i happily experiment and come up with results?

Well various compression methods might take a bit longer or shorter to safe, but overall the difference should be neglectable compared to the rendering time of an average bryce scene.

I agree, shouldn't make a whole whack of difference, 'specially compared tio the time of an average Bryce render Rosie . .. ...
