Hello everyone,
I just purchased DS4A recently to be able to use the new Genesis character. I have been a Poser user since Poser 6 and have pretty much owned all Poser programs since then. I have Poser Pro 2012 and I love the program but I see the benifits of the Genesis character and I do not see Smith Micro changing their program or introducing something as advanced as Genesis for a while yet, of course I could be wrong on that. I have also heard that the new V5/M5 will be a morph of the Genesis character. Anway my question is, Where can I find a manual or tutorials to use DS4A? Maybe I am not looking in the right place at DAZ, but most of the threads I have looked in on there and here people are only interested in beating each other up about the programs they use and percieved lack of support. Any help would be appriciated in finding a tutorial to help me learn a new program.

I appreciate that,I wish that it had a PDF manual like Poser comes with to look at when you are sitting there scratching your head in confusion.

Thanks for the link! I know there was someone at the DAZ forums that was just asked to to lead a group that was doing the documentation for DS4A and other plug ins but I can not find that thread any more or remember who it was because she had hotlinks in her signature block for the documentation I am looking for. Me and my crummy memory!

I think it may be zigraphix putting the documentation together. Try a search at Daz Forum for their username. I am unable to post links using this browser, sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck!

No need to appologize you gave me the info I needed, it is Zigraphix that is doing the documentation for DS4A and CCT. The CCT documentation is out but they are still working on the DS4 info. I found the DAZ youtube area and I was able to watch several videos they had on lighting. It looks like their lighting is similar to Posers but may be a little more user friendly. I guess once I install it and try it out I will know for sure, but from the video's and talking to people the hardest part will be learning the new workflow and there won't be a whole lot of things to unlearn and relearn for the new program.

that IS Zigraphix, and she has posted some DRAFTS to WIKI for review.
I am at work and cannot access the thread link, but will post it as soon as I can access my home macine.

there is no pdf manual at the moment,
you can join & vote for a downloadable manual here
first signup here for a bug/request thread account on daz3d (it's not the same as you use on the daz forum)
https://bugs.daz3d.com/signup_page.php
then vote for the requests or problems you found with dazstudio or any daz program
I created a report for PDF manual of dazstudio & all it's features here
https://bugs.daz3d.com/view.php?id=44135
you can find more requests with nice functions for dazstudio at my channel
Dazstudio request/improvement channel
feel free to join and sign the requests you like,
with enough user votes, we can ask daz for real changes to it's products.
the real developers don't read the forums,
but the developers section at bugs.daz3d.com

Feel free to join & sign the requests here Dazstudio request

Thanks for the links but the first one is missing unless it is the same one that links to your Youtube site. I already have a bugs account (Gonna have to remember the login and password though! LOL) I appreciate your help in this and I will make sure that I vote for a PDF Manual, I can't believe that they don't include one with this program!
