Probably something simple i'm too dumb to figure out. But it is what it is.

Look at IK , that locks the feet unless you specifically move them. Raing the hip using y-tran will lift the feet but it can get ugly. I think ik is on the top menu under figure.

Or right click on the figure in PP2012
Right clicking on anything in Poser brings up a menu with the most common tasks fior that item.
IK is in the right click menu for a figure.
Right click on figures, props, lights, and experiment.

Have you tried dropping the figure to the floor? If that doesn't help, try selecting the BODY part and raising it along the Y axis a bit.

it is usually on by default. On the legs.
It is useful for posing. eg suppose you have put your V4 hand on a telephone. you can turn IK on for the hand and then move her hip away and her arm will straighten but still hold onto the phone.
Or say you have it on for the legs and she is standing. you can grab the hip and pull down and she will squat.
When you grab and pull on screen it is good to hold the shift key down otherwise sometimes you will start pulling on the clothes or some other body part accidentally.
Love esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
