Subject: Matmatic Question for BagginsBill

I'm taking the plunge and am trying to wrap my tired old head around Matmatic. I am running PP2010 8.0 32 bit on Wix XP Pro. I downloaded 1.3.0, and upon unzipping find that the librariesmaterialsMatmaticDemos & librariesPoseMatmaticDemos files are not there. These files are in ver. 1.4.0 but I am hesitant on putting them in my runtime because they are for P9 & PP2012. Can someone direct me to the correct files so I can get this set up? Any help much appreciated...

C~

1.3.0 was just an update - only the program files were included. The demos have not changed, ever. They are way out of date anyway.

I never did release Pose/MatmaticDemos. It was going to be mat-pose files for figures, but I never bothered. VSS is a better way to do shaders for all figures.

So you can just re-use the demos you had, or don't bother, and just download or write new scripts.

You can get it to stop looking for missing files by editing the contents of config.txt.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

The demos included in 1.4.0 are using scatter, so only work in PP2012 or P9. Those are new demos. Only new ones were in there.

You can go ahead and use the old demos, and/or make dummy folders, too.
