well, I got this goofy little action cam for when I'm Mt biking, I use Imovie for editing, it's pretty powerful, easy and well... free  :)

anyway, getting bored of the effects and such, so finding out it does GREEN SCREEN I decided to test out using Cararra for making some text effects and such... Set the background to pure green, animated some quick text... threw it all on a few sec's of bike video... seems to work.!!

now.. I can get really fancy  :P

Very cool!  So IMovie does green screen now?  Wow.  Last time I used it I couldn't find any cool effects.  I thought all the effects were stripped from earlier versions to push people towards Final Cut.

Thanks!

It's actually had green screen since way back with 05. it still has a MESS of advanced feature, you just have to turn them on  ;) They hid a lot because it was causing newbee's confusion

if you go into the pref's, the general section there is a button label something like "advanced feature"  turn it on, restart and there is alllll kindsa new little things..

Yes, that's what I was looking for.  I'm still getting a hang of clipping and working with the layout.
