35 mile per hour winds, high temperature of 64 degrees, leaves blown off trees before they even turn color... nothing here to photograph that might be warm except a few select things...like this drain on the side of the old main library building.

Oh yes PJ - this is perfect! What a marvelous image. I love the creatures eyes - they do look pretty real!

A warm cosy fire that I captured back in June at a Wine Estate close to Cape Town, South Africa!

Had warm colors the other afternoon on the beach with Magnus.

helanker ( ) posted Thu, 03 November 2011 at 11:05 AM

Yes, it looks quite cosy Carin :-)

BIPOLARTWO ( ) posted Thu, 03 November 2011 at 11:08 AM

So let me understand this correctly?

If our autumn colours do not match your own.Our posts will be removed?

I always believed that leaves fallen off trees was a clear indication that autumn had arrived-How silly of me to realise that it apparently is not.

Equal right's for photographer's because i will be one - one day...................

helanker ( ) posted Thu, 03 November 2011 at 11:25 AM

I see my english is still not good enough, because I didnt understand a word, Pete?

dochtersions ( ) posted Thu, 03 November 2011 at 11:29 AM

Thanks Carin ♥
This will be a lovely item.
3 beautiful and warm images already appeared, I see.
My compliments for the beautiful mood on them :)

Meisiekind ( ) posted Thu, 03 November 2011 at 11:31 AM

No idea what you mean Pete - sorry!

@ Helle - wonderful warm coloring. It looks like late afternoon light! Marvelous.

Sorry.

I posted an image-although it was of a small river-the banks were covered in autumn leaves which apparently accepted as a warm colour.

I posted the image stating that although it was not the best image it would get the ball rolling ( get things started ).

I posted the image and checked that it had been posted correctly which it was-But the image for some unknown reason vanished.

It really matters not though.

But many thanks for your reply which was greatly appreciated

Hi Pete - please try posting it again! We would love to see it!

Just make sure the size is correct or else it will not upload = maximum 800 X 600 pixels and less than 200kb.

Carin xx

I have to go out and clean up my front yard after the wind and rain clears out and perhaps I'll find a leaf or two that has some color to it. LOL  Of course, with the storms I may find a decent sunset or sunrise as well. ;-) I wish I had a fire like the one you posted, Carin. Before I bought this house 11 years ago, there was a free-standing fireplace in the game room...it wasn't put in right and burnt down the back of the house. LOL  My dream is to put in another after my daughter moves out of there. And Helle, the field looks so inviting. I bet the air is invigorating.
