Yes, I noticed it. It's the darker red bit in my third picture. I think it's the reflection of the oar brace (Or whatever you call the thing the oar rest in.)

Photo edited with Photoshop> Filter> Render> Difference Clouds. I added two fairies, I accentuated the drop shadow with the purple and... voila! Here's an enchanted corner! :-)

It is so strange---I will go back to where i captured the image in a few days and take a few more snaps from different angles-I never seen it with the naked eye but the camera did pick it up--so on a nice clear day i will get more pic's

This is an homage to my great friend Mario (some time ago, he sent me the mask of the book) and new friend Pete (thanks for the beautiful image to modify)!
I only reworked the image with Dynamic-Photo HDR 5 and placed it inside the book!
