I was checking Amazon's (pre) Black Friday deals and saw that PP 2012 will go on sale around 1pm Central time. These sales tend to be 50% or more off the price, but they only last for a short time, four hours or less.
I already have 2012, but I thought I'd pass this along.

Cheaper than the pre-order upgrade price. I'm tempted, even though I have Poser 9. It's more of a memory hog than I expected, and I'm wondering if the 64-bit Poser Pro 2012 is faster.

If you have the RAM, it is. Well worth the upgrade for a number of reasons, Randy. I don't regret having bought PP2012 when I did and what I ended up paying for it - just glad that others have the opportunity to snag this amazing programme at this really awesome price.
Even if SM decided to do a $50 special or something, I'd be elated... the more people to get into the new technology, the better!!

If they do like they did last year they will probably offer it again closer to the holiday. Last year I picked up Manga Studio 4, new for $5, including shipping!

Amazon.com only ships within the USA.
In Canada it's Amazon.ca and it's primarily a book buying site.
