Subject: Multiple threads info :)

Hey gang,

Just thought I'd pop in here to let you all know that if you are planning on having an ongoing freebie release {very active} that you can just create one thread, and add to it whenever you release a new item. {see adamthwaites thread stickied at top of forum for example}

I say this since we can't 'merge' threads {which I'd 'really' like to be able to do} and all your items old and new can be found in one place.

Also, if you are going to be releasing often, such as several during a week, month etc..you can send me or any of the freebie staff a request to have your thread stickied. {No stickied threads for those releasing once every couple months or so since the system will archive it after 45 days}

Anyways, if you have any questions, just give us a holler :)

As in, we can create subthreads, or multiple items in the same thread?

Just keep adding your new items to your thread we will sticky upon member request...good plan Jani....but Yokasobi, this is for frequent contributors who announce here in this forum . .. ...

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

Ah. I did understand the frequent contributers part, but wondered whether this means digging through one thread to find all the freebies a contributer has ever announced on R'osity rather than finding a particular thread for a particular item.

What jani was suggesting I think is a merging of all of a prticular member's posts into one thread which we staff upon member's request,sticky so their stuff is easy to find. The alternative is they could have their Free contributions searchable by simply uploading stuff here rather than taking members "off site" toget their offerings . .. ...
