I need a new laptop is the Intel CoreTM i5-2430M (2,4GHz) enough for poser pro 2010?
I know the i7 is better but I don't have enough money for that one.
Thank you

For Posers interface; YES.
But Posers render speed will depend on CPU power.
Faster CPU will bring faster render times.
I Ran PP2010 during testing on an A270N so it works on low end CPU's.

I have an i3 540 @ 3,07gHz with 4 gig RAM, running Win7 64-bit. It runs PP2012 beautifully. I believe PP2012 is a bit more efficient with resources that PP2010, tho...

today the Intel CoreTM i5-2430M (2,4GHz) is ranked at 210, and the i3-540 is ranked at the 268 place.
The Intel CoreTM i5-2430M (2,4GHz) is faster, should give better render times.
But??? As with all new PC's....
Good housekeeping is also VERY important.

Should be ok I have run PP2010 on a Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.0GHZ with a Intel 845 chipset it is a little slow rendering but other than that it works.

I've got a laptop with a Core 2 Duo at 2.4gHz with 4Gb Ram and it runs and renders PPro2010 & P8 just fine. Nothing slow about rendering here, the one you picked should be more the OK.

You will be fine my desktop uses a 860 I7 and it renders in about 15-20min at really high quality and about 7 at normal quality.
