A while ago it did. I posted a link in Chat to the Daz weekly freebie and no sooner did I do that, the server to the store went down. I can still get to the forums using my bookmark.

If they're doing maintenance you usually get a ...we're sorry page. I'm getting a time out for the store link and a 403 Forbidden for the forum pages.

Now I can't get to the forums either.

While the cat's away the mice will play!
Probably being Sunday and no staff around V4 and V5 got into a private pushing and shoving match argument over who was going to rule the store and one of them accidently kicked the plug out of the wall during the tussle. I was right in the middle of some PC purchases and it came back about an hour later probably after M4 discovered the problem and plugged the server back in.
Now more to the point:
Reno had a wicked weather front move through Friday and Saturday and it proably got to Utah about that time and knocked the power out in the area around Daz for a bit is all. Battery backups only last so long.

Hey G, that's a good one. I managed to get to the site unscathed.

They've been having serious problems for several days now.
They are trying to re-vamp the site. Apparently, it has something to do with the security issue they had awhile back. ArtZone has been taken down, and it sounds like when it comes back, it will be very, very different.
RHaseltine posted Tue, 22 November 2011 at 8:39 AM
The ArtZone issue was an alert sent as an admin that generated emails - it didn't give access to any user details. It was some time ago and had nothing to do with the weekend's problem, which was a hardware issue at the data centre hosting the site as far as I am aware rather than something at the DAZ end.
