Hello,

the manual of Poser Pro 2012 mentions a "root Hair node" (Chapter 16, p 319). I can't find such a node. For strand hair,  I see the same root node as for a normal material. There is a regular "hair" node, but that's not a root node.

 Can anyone clarify?
