Hello everybody.
I am making a movie, which is a project for my Video class and I am doing it in Poser.
Now, what I want to do is make a movie in Firefly, but eliminating the background.
It's like rendering your character, going into the render window, clicking the tear off button and saving the image to your computer as a PNG File.
Instead of doing that with each frame individually, is there a way I can do that by making a movie? I know there is an option called "Image files" when making the movie, but I thought it was only JPEG. I want it to be a PNG file, so the background is transparent and eliminated once saved.
Is there a way I can do it that way instead of doing that with each frame one by one?
I am using Poser Pro 2008.
Thank you for your time.

Poser creates a matte when you save to avi, uncompressed. It is safer to use png or Tiff image sequences just so you don't lose everything when you have a crash. Most image editors will combine image sequences and use mattes.

You have the option of saving it as a .png file. I do that all the time for every animation I do. I only render what I need to animate. The backgrounds and such are added post if there isn't something in the background that my character needs to interact with.
If I had a nickle for ever time a woman told me to get lost, I could buy Manhattan.

I just checked, and Poser renders image files to .png by default on my system. Perhaps it does on yours too...?

I am using a Mac and when I make a movie set to png using 'Million colours+' I can make a Quck Time Movie. Unfortunately in Poser Pro2112 using 64bit this facility has been removed, if anybody knows of a way around this it would be appreciated.
