I have a D3 character, Poser 8, and want to purchase clothes, specifically a baseball uniform for M3: http://www.animotions.com/store/product.php?productid=28654&cat=0&page=1

Question: is there a clothes morpher so that I can use this M3 uniform on my D3 character if it ends up it won't work on my D3 guy?

Wardrobe Wizard ought to fix you right up. You will need the expansion pack #2 from philc.net, but that ought to take care of it!

Wardrobe Wizard works.  I own that baseball uniform, and I like it.  It won't fit David without conversion, but Wardrobe Wizard will convert it.  I've converted that baseball uniform to fit David, Vicky, Furrette, NearMe, Hiro, etc.  The image is that uniform converted by WW to Rosy Cheeks Lina.

CrossDresser also does the trick, but you need the necessary modules like WW.

I'm wondering if just copying the setup from the one figure ot the other using PP 2012 wouldn't work.

Interesting.  It would be worth a try.

Edit: Nope, just tried.  There is the scaling problem; David is smaller in size than Michael 3.

maybe do what people have been doing with clothes and size one of them roughly to fit and export the .obj then use that one?

That would be feasible, however you will lose your morphing settings within the clothing figure.  At this point, going dynamic in the Cloth room would be your only option provided if the mesh is well constructed.

Well, it sounds likeWardrobe Wizard is the best option?

I can vouch for Wardrobe Wizard.  Crossdresser might work as well, if you prefer that, but I've never tried it.

Wardrobe Wizard is included with Poser 8.  You just have to buy the expansion pack that lets you convert between D3 and M3.  (It comes with just the pack that supports the native Poser figures.)  D3 and M3 are in the same pack, so you only have to buy that one.

Thank you, randym77.

I do have Poser 8. Where do I get the expansion pack - and, how do I load Wardrobe Wizard to use it?

Wardrobe Wizard is made by PhilC.  You can buy the expansion packs here:

http://www.philc.net/store_WW_Extra_Figs.php

You need Expansion Pack #2.

WW is a Python script.  You load it using Scripts -> Wardrobe Wizard Menu.  You'll see the WW buttons in the Python Scripts palette then.  (If you don't have that palette up, it's under Window-> Python scripts.)

Instructions are in the Poser manual.  It's pretty easy.
