P.S. ref: Page 19 - My 1.4 version of Wings3D has ".Mirror." on the menu but one must have a Face selected first. 😄

Okay. found it now.  (Scratches head) Wasn't that an object (body) function in earler versions?  Well, okay, it still is, in a confused way.

what if you're sculpting a pocket on one side of the skirt, can mirror put a pocket on the opposit side?

when i Break the mirror, it just makes the mirror geometry disappear.  i don't know how to leave mirror mode and keep the geometry.  grrr  T I - double guh - rr

Hi Misty,

The simple answer is ....... YES!  😄

............ BUT .......... !!!!!!!

DO NOT BREAK the mirror ..... it's 7 years of BAD LUCK! :scared:_____ YAAA!

Here's what to do ...

After you are finished sculpting your model (using the virtual mirror) ...
... just FREEZE IT and your mirrored mesh is converted into real geometry.

It's seems like a cold but it just hangs on and nothing really helps.

But I so fell a little better and have been doing the copy/paste/save thingy so I have all this info to practice on. :)
