Subject: Underwater scene

I just got vue the other day and here is the first picture that I've tried. Let me know what you think

I think it looks pretty good, especially for a first attempt. :) However, you will get much moe realistic water scenes by turning off the atmospheric effects, such as fog and haze. JUst set them at zero. Depending on the atmosphere, you might also want to go into the "sky and clouds" tab in the main menu at the top, and make sure the "fog in the sky" slider is also at zero. It seems the real trick to effective realism in underwater scenes is to adjust the Fade Out controls in conjunction with the clearness controls on your water material, which are found under the Transparency tab in the material editor. I think its pretty cool! very good for a first image..you should have seen my first image....LOL Wish mine had been this good. Welcome to the world of Vue :)

Really very good for a first underwater image indeed! I was not even that close. All I see is that you need now is to pay attention to details. You are getting all ready!

Yeah, there are a lot of nice things in this scene and once you're up and running with vue, I'm sure you're going to come up with some great work...
