hi all,
i was wondering if there's a way to tell Poser to render a frame sequence but only an area render - not the entire frame.
i just rendered a 600 frames animation (about 20 hours render) and noticed that i have a prop rotating where it shouldn't. it's at a very secluded part of the frame - so it's easy to render only that area and use a compositing software to overlay it on top of the wrong render.
but i have no idea how to tell Poser to render 600 frames as an area render.
is it even possible?

No. Poser doesn't remember the co-ordinates of your area render. It would be nice if it did (like Vue does).
Windows 10 x64 Pro - Intel Xeon E5450 @ 3.00GHz (x2)
PoserPro 11 - Units: Metres
Adobe CC 2017

I dont believe its possible.
You can use another camera and set it to only the area you need , then render that only. Its fairly hard to get an exact match though :(
You can also do a camera mask. Put a prop plane in front of the camera with a hole in it (transparency mask will do) and position it for the area you need redone. Rendering should be quick once it starts.
You can obviously delete everything in the scene except the area of interest and render that but you might not get quite the same result depending on render and lighting settings.
I cant think of anything else
