Thinking about upgrading from Poser 7 -> the latest Poser Pro. I think I remember reading that the render queue runs as a background process while you work with the GUI.
I wondering if it also allows you to use multiple systems - I built a five node render farm which significantly speeds Vue renders, and would love to see the same type of speed increases in Poser for ray-traced refractions, as an example.
On an unrelated note, I understand that Poser doesn't do the CC sub'd thing but wondering how - generally - smoothing looks on a 6K or 24K poly figure. Thanks in advance for your insight.

The render queue will work on multiple clients but they will render complete frames at a time, i.e. a single frame render is not split across the queue but sent to one client only.

If I understand you correctly....each node renders a complete frame? That's not necessarily a bad thing.

Yep, that's right.
