Ok.. I popped for Mariko today due to the coupon and the 50% off sale.
Only problem is that all the mats and the clothes show in the Library of Poser Pro 2012 Win 7 but the actual figure does not.
I installed to my WTF does it go directory as well and there is a Mariko file there... that shows no extension but identifies as a .cr2 in properties.
A Win 7 search comes up with bupkis when I search for "Mariko.cr2" and Poser can't see it.
The .obj file can be imported and looks ok but but with scary weird boobies and unattached floating nipples.
Probably a Win 7 thing? DTG doesn't seem to be awake.

Are you sure you bought and installed the Mariko base product as she does not come with clothes?
MacMyers posted Fri, 30 December 2011 at 10:11 PM
Yeah.. I bought
DTG_Mariko.zip
and
dcMarikoturtleneckShort.zip
Like 22 bucks with the discounts. It's wierd... it claims to see a previous version of
UV files and the Mariko file seems to be 0 Bytes. Still haven't heard from DTG.
Kinda tense and cranky.

Very weird as I'm running the same setup as you - Poser Pro 2012 and Win 7 and I've had no problems. While you wait you might want to check out their forums to see if anyone else has experienced problems. I hope things will be sorted out for you very soon.

Thanks.... it's odd... and it annoys me that I can't figure it out.

I got it to work. Had to copy and move the file and .png manually. 3 times. Move it from Dir to Dir. If I tried to copy it right to the runtime, or use the extractor... I got a 0 byte file.
Don't have a clue.

I'm pleased you got it working. Maybe your download was corrupted. I'm thinking maybe it would be worth downloading it again to see if it is any better for you as it may save problems in the future.

I had the same problem and i had to the same, copy it by hand. This is due to the fact that there is a Mariko, for mac included in the zip( i think its for the mac) and that one is 0 byte and its the one that gets copied over first if you would extract the zipfile, i know its weird, but the download is not corrupted:)

Hi!
I went and bought the model today to (thanks for the heads up on half price) and experienced exact the same problem.
In runtime/libraries/character a file called DTG_Mariko at 0 byte appears, the folder "DTG_Mariko" that contains the actual cr2 "Mariko" is not extracted
Not a big problem as I always extract outside the runtime first to arrange the files to my liking, just open the zip and copy the missing folder.
This might be caused by the fact that the files in the zip are write protected.

Just a by the by, when there are dual format files in a zip, MAC and PC, I do this with Winzip (Not sure if 7Zip or any other zip util does this):
Highlight the other OS files (In my case the MAC stuff) and from menu, invert selection THEN unzip the files....

The Mac files must be new as I don't seem to have them. I'm pleased all worked out well.
ETA: Oh, I do seem to have 0 kb files in the zip but they did not give me any trouble. Everything seemed to install as normal and they were just ignored. Most odd.
