As long as it makes a mesh Jani, I don't see why it wouldn't ;). You'd have to use Cycles texures of course. I bet it looks awesome in Cycles...lol.

not tried this tut yet but might help, it shows an older(or maybe the paid one I dunno) city generator
http://www.blendercycles.com/tutorials/city/
hope it helps
heddheld posted Sat, 28 January 2012 at 3:48 AM
errrrrrrr my bad
the link to the cycles part is right at the bottom of that tut
(http://www.blendercycles.com/tutorials/city2/)
dont think I know enough about blenders node system to get any good results yet
but if/when I do I'll let you know
unbroken-fighter posted Sat, 28 January 2012 at 7:10 AM
stock city gen does not apply mats
you have to make them .objs and apply mat zones
look to cgcookie for a video tut on cycles that actualy works
Jumpstartme2 posted Sat, 28 January 2012 at 6:27 PM
Im not anywhere near close to working with nodes yet..thought there would be a much simpler way to ligh in cycles since the city has a night time texture using emmissions..and I can't find anything regarding the city gen at night and cycles on cgcookie..
Oh well...gotta be a way for newbs like me LOL
Thanks all!

pic shows the city rendered (done nothing to that) and the (BI)nodes from one of the mats, not archivis lol but ok for a bit of background as is
I'm not too clever with the BI nodes yet an then cycles are slightly dif again, one day my little bits of knowledge will merge into understanding this proggy but theres so much to learn ;-)
jartz posted Tue, 31 January 2012 at 10:16 AM
Wow, it has improved when I first tried it. I'll give it another shot again, thanks NT for the heads up.

city gen still doesnt apply actual materias to the meshes just basic zones for differentiation
the nodes control the materials
on www.cgcookie.com thet just released part 2 of a nodes tut that can be of some help but you realy need to reffer to the .pdf book i posted a while back for a better description
and witht the nodes what you have to watch is is the type that you add and the order that they are added in
in your post i see none are set to define the diffusion, AO, spec., or the normals even though they are checked
