I've recently downloaded an expensive M16 model from TurboSquid and I've also downloaded Blender.

I tried to edit the model and export it into obj but when I import the obj onto DAZ Studio, it has an error message.

Also, I have some diffuculty trying to texture the blender model and I don't know how to add materials to the file.

Can anybody help help with the texturing and materials, and can anybody help my how to correctly export it to obj?

my first question would be why turbosquid?? makes the second why expensive? lol

ok what error are u getting from DS is lots of reasons it wont work and the answer would be different depending on the error

much the same applies to adding mats, is the model split up for diff mats or do you want to add new mats?? is it uv mapped?? and lastly how well do you know blender?? if its the first time you have used it I would sugest an hour or two of basic tuts, that should help you sort out the probs yourself or ask the right questions to get help

If its the model I think, then it has no UVs - which it should have at that price.

Which version of Blender and DAZ Studio are you using?  What is the error message at DAZ Studio.

I use both software, I may be able to help you.

Export to OBJ for use with DAZ Studio can be tricky.
