Ok i have a vial with liquid in it and also an eye dropper. I need to texture them as glass. How should i go about doing this in the matrial room? Any good advice?

There should be some glass materials in the Basic Materials folder.

I would check runtimedna freestuff. There were some materials there for glass. It depends on how realistic you want to be with reflections and refraction which will depend in part on how your stuff is modelled.

I would also do a forum search for Bagginsbill and glass and check the Node Cult @ RDNA for more forum information.

Glass that actually looks like glass is one of those rare and elusive things with our current renderer (Firefly), unfortunately. Depends on just how picky you are...

Thanks i think i found some good stuff =-)

this benzo uses several glass posersurfaces. search this forum, "thin glass shader", user bagginsbill. some of them aren't actually glass, but polycarbonate, however buyers prefer that the plastic look like glass AFAIK.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

What diffuse collor did you use for that BB if i may ask?
bagginsbill posted Mon, 16 January 2012 at 5:00 PM
There is no diffuse, so that doesn't matter. Diffuse_Value is 0 - no diffuse.
But it is white. White times 0 is 0 = black. So the effective diffuse color is black.

use refract node if coloured glass desired ( ~ transparency colour). however, no info yet on transmissive colour in poser, e.g. directional lite source passes thru coloured transparent posersurface, which acts as lite gel.

i did a cararra 7 render a while back with a fishbowl, the props behind the fishbowl looked magnified through the 'glass'. is it possible for PP12 to do something similar?
... still trying to find the render ...
